Royal Air Force Award

posted 9 Jun 2015, 08:18 by H Slim
Last week Clacton Coastal Academy was privileged to receive an award from the Royal Air Force. The award was in recognition of the high quality and number of candidates from Clacton Coastal Academy that have entered the Royal Air Force over the past 5 years. There are only 100 educational establishments within the South of England that have been selected to receive this prestigious award and CCA is one of only 6 in Essex.

Tracey Hemming, Principal commented: "It is an absolute pleasure to have received this award. Our students are encouraged to participate in a number of clubs, in and out of school, and to give back to their community and I think this recognition shows that our students go on to do great things. It is yet another thing to add to the ever growing list of accolades that this academy has achieved this year. As always, I am extremely proud of all that the students and staff achieve here at Clacton Coastal Academy."
