Over the last year, Clacton Coastal Academy has been working on a very special project in partnership with Learning Academies. This project called Infinity Academy is based on a double club programme which consists of an inspiring 15 week extra-curricular timetable of literacy sessions and a weekly sports activity.

Last week saw the second Infinity Academies Graduation at CCA. This was the second cohort of students to graduate through this initiative. 72 students have been taking part in this project which aims to improve students’ literacy together with combining this with an engaging sports activity.

At Learning Academies and within the Infinity Academy the ethos is very much about encouraging a genuine love of learning, inspiring and engaging students through a relevant and challenging curriculum, placing a strong emphasis on raising attainment and aspirations. Facilitating a culture of success where personal achievement is something to be proud of. High expectations are always set for all students, working hard to recognise and reward success. This graduation was a night full of celebration in honour of all their hard work and to showcase what they have been working on.
