Light’s camera, action!

Students were busy producing promotional videos as the newly appointed Headteachers of their newly designed and commissioned schools. Students enjoyed the challenge of creating a short welcome video to bring their online prospectus to life. The video podcasts, without exception, were engaging, inspiring and persuasive with students getting truly into role!

Well done to all of the 70 KS3 and KS4 Infinity Academy students, you really are making the most of the opportunities to extend your skills in Literacy on a Tuesday and Wednesday after school. Keep it up as we now enter the final half of the programme. Students also revived their limited edition badges this week , as part of the gifted and talented programme.

Women’s Bike Tour come to Tendring

On Tuesday 11th March, four lucky year 8 students were selected to be present for the announcement of the route for the Women’s Bike Tour which will be taking place in May in the Tendring area. Katie Black, Lorna Sharpe, Cameron Dol-phin and Nathan Rockwell took their bikes down to Clacton Town Hall and met with Emma Trott. They were also inter-viewed by Dream 100 and said that they couldn’t wait for the event in May and they look forward to cheering on their favourite cyclists!
